The V.K.R. Educational and Charitable Trust, Soolakkarai, was established on 15.12.2006 under the presidentship of Thiru. V. Subburaj.
The primary aim of establishing this trust is to provide education to rural and economically underprivileged people in the region. The trust especially focuses on making teacher education accessible to poor and brilliant degree holders from rural areas.
