At Sri Vatsa Group of Institutions, we believe in fostering a culture of respect, dignity, and inclusion. Ragging, in any form, is a punishable offense and goes against our core values of empathy, discipline, and student well-being. We are committed to maintaining a ragging-free campus, where every student feels safe, supported, and empowered.
What is Ragging?
Ragging refers to any act that causes or is likely to cause physical, psychological, or emotional harm,
discomfort, or humiliation to a student. This includes:
- Verbal or physical abuse
- Forced activities or assignments
- Teasing, bullying, or intimidation
- Isolation or exclusion
- Any act that affects the mental health or self-confidence of a student
- Ragging is strictly prohibited under the UGC Regulations and the Indian Penal Code.
Zero Tolerance Policy
We adopt a zero-tolerance approach to ragging. If found guilty, the consequences may include:
- Suspension or expulsion from the institution
- Cancellation of admission
- Legal action under anti-ragging laws
- Withdrawal of scholarships or benefits
Reporting Ragging
Students can report any incident of ragging anonymously and confidentially. We assure immediate investigation and action.
