Honoring the Heart of Healthcare at Sri Vatsa School of Nursing

Each year, May 12 is celebrated as International Nurses Day, marking the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale — the founder of modern nursing. At Sri Vatsa School of Nursing, this day holds a special place in our hearts as we pause to celebrate the strength, compassion, and dedication of nurses who serve as the backbone of the healthcare system.

This year, we are excited to honor the commitment of our student nurses, faculty, and the nursing community through a day of meaningful activities and reflections. The theme for 2025, “Our Nurses. Our Future. The Economic Power of Care.”, highlights how investing in nursing is vital to a healthy, resilient future for all.

To mark the occasion, we have organized a special event on our campus featuring:
